You can put this solution on YOUR website! -7 -3x < 5
Multiply by -1 to make the coefficient of x positive, this reverses the inequality sign
3x + 7 > -5
Subtract 7 from both sides
3x > -5 - 7
3x > -12
divide both sides by 3
x >
x > -4
