13 and 5. On some of these problems you can easily "guess and check" by knowing that the only factors of 65 are (1, 65), (5, 13). On other problems you can solve by letting the width be w and the length 8+w. Then the area is w(8+w) = 65, which can be solved for w using the quadratic formula (or factoring).
