When a polynomial is not factorable what is it called? Why?
Hope you can help me. Thank you
You can put this solution on YOUR website! It's called prime.
It's called that because it's not factorable.
---------------------
It's similar to prime numbers.
eg, 13 is a prime number, it has no factors other than 1 and itself.
12 is not a prime number, 12 = 2*2*3.
