Question 253153: Find the slope of the line passing through the pair of points or state that the slope is undefined. Then indicate whether the line through the points rises, falls, is horizontal, or is vertical (-5,6) and (5,3)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
We are given the following coordinates: (-5,6) and (5,3)
--
step 1 find the slope using:
m+=+%28y2-y1%29%2F%28x2-x1%29
We get
m+=+%283-6%29%2F%285-%28-5%29%29
m+=+-3%2F10
Since this is a negative number, the slope is called negative and as we read from left to right, we see it falls down to the right.
