Question 229914: A pet shop buys a litter of puppies for $160. They sell all but four of the puppies. They make $160 off the puppies they sell, and sell each puppy for $20 more than they bought them for. How many puppies were in the litter that the store bought?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Since they make 20 for each puppy sold and they made 160 then:
160/20=8 puppies sold
8+4=12 puppies in the litter.
