Let x = buying price
then
(x+2) = selling price
:
bought$ = sold$
56x = 49(x+2)
56x = 49x + 98
56x - 49x = 98
7x = 98
x = 98%2F7
x = $14, buying price, obviously then, $16 is the selling price
