Question 216700: I would like for someone to check my answers to make sure it's correct.
What is the volume of a cylinder that has a diameter of 2" and a height of 6"?
The steps I took:
Volume = 3.14 x r squared x height
To find radius, I divided 2 by 2 = 1
3.14 x 1 x 1 x 6 = 18.84"
Volume = 18.84"
Is this correct? Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! You are correct. Good job. One little thing to note is that the units for the answer are cubic inches (instead of linear inches). In other words, the answer is 18.84 cubic inches.
