The first mumbles an answer which the stranger cannot hear. The second says, " He said he was a Prevars." The third says tot he second, "You're a liar!" Of what group was the third?

What did the first person have to say?????
If the first person who mumbled was a Veritas, then he would have told the truth and said he was a Veritas. If the first person was a Prevars then he would have lied and said that he was a Veritas.
Therefore, the second person lied and the third person told the truth.
Third person--------------Veritas.
