You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The probability of drawing a marble that is odd or green (an inclusive event)is expressed by:
P(odd or green) = P(odd) + P(green) - P(odd and green) and this can be written as:
P(odd or green) = P(odd) + P(green) - P(odd)*P(green)
P(odd or green) = 5/10 + 5/10 - (5/10)*(5/10) = 1-(25/100) = 1-(1/4) = 3/4
So the probability of drawing a marble that is odd or green is 3/4 or 75%
