You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let A and B be the amounts deposited.
1.A%2BB=100000
"Twice the larger deposit(B) is P25,000 less than three times the smaller deposit(A)"
2.2B=3A-25000
The choice of A and B as smaller and larger deposit is arbitrary... could be the other way around.
From eq. 1,
1.A%2BB=100000
Let's multiplied both sides by 2,
1.2A%2B2B=200000
Now substitute eq. 2 into eq. 1 and solve for A.
1.2A%2B2B=200000
2A%2B%283A-25000%29=200000
5A-25000=200000
5A=225000
highlight%28A=45000%29
From eq. 1,
1.A%2BB=100000
45000%2BB=100000
highlight%28B=55000%29
