You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Thirteen more than two-thirds of a number is 17
More than means we are going to add 13,
2%2F3 a number means 2%2F3x,
so we have;
2%2F3x+13=17
Subtract 13 from both sides,
2%2F3x+13-13=17-13
2%2F3x=4
Divide both sides by the reciprocal of 2%2F3 which is 3%2F2;
2%2F3x(3%2F2)=4(3%2F2)
x=12%2F2
x=6
Hope you get it
=)
