You can put this solution on YOUR website!

If you have two more sisters than brothers, and each of your sisters also has two more sisters than brothers, then your youngest brother has six more sisters than brothers. Here's how I arrived at this answer:
You have two more sisters than brothers, so let's call the number of brothers "b" and the number of sisters "s".
According to the information you provided, s+=+b+%2B+2.
Each of your sisters also has two more sisters than brothers, so if we call the number of brothers of your sisters "B" and the number of sisters of your sisters "S", then S+=+B+%2B+2.
Since you have two more sisters than brothers, and each of your sisters also has two more sisters than brothers, that means your oldest brother has 2+%2B+2+=+4+more sisters than brothers.

I will answer your question.

If the number of girls  G  is three more than the number of boys  B,  it means that   G = B + 3.

        We can rewrite it in an  EQUIVALENT  form   G = (B-1) + 4.         (*)

Here  (B-1)  is the number of brothers,  that every boy has
(when we count the number of his brothers,  we exclude this boy from the set  B,
since we do not count this boy as the brother to himself.   Agree ?)

Equality  (*)  PRECISELY tells that the number of sisters,  which every brother has,  is  4  more than the number of brothers he has.

That is the logic.

Since this logic is  OBVIOUS,  people often use the word / (the term)  " OBVIOUS "
(in full accordance to its meaning)  wheh  they  explain it to other people.

This problem about brothers and sisters is  REMARKABLE.

It is remarkable, since it is  SIMPLE,  but its solution requires from a person,  who solves it,
to make some jump in his/her thoughts.

A regular school does not teach students to make jumps in their thoughts,  as a rule.

Therefore,  the average student is powerless in the face of such a task.

But the problems like this one  DO  TEACH  it   -  -  -   it is why they are so beautiful,  so important and so educative.
