A man bought a car for $8,250 paying a deposit of $380.00 and the balance at 280 dollars per month for over 5 years. After 4 months he found it too expensive. The car was repossessed and sold for 6400 dollars. The finance company then sent him a bill for 1066.70 dollars being the difference between what he owed and what they received for the car. He paid the bill and had no car. How much did he pay altogether.
