A road is 6km long. Donna runs around the pond and Emily walks in the opposite direction. They start at the same point.When they depart at the same time they will meet after 20min. Additionally if Donna departs 15min behind Emily they will meet after 16min.
How many meters per minute are Donna and Emily moving forward.

In this post,   2  (two,  TWO)  things are unclear to me.

        1.  How the road relates to the pond   (same as Alan asked you),

    and

        2.  These words  " . . . they will meet after 16 minutes"  relate/refer to which time moment ?

            in other words,  16 minutes after WHICH event ?


As the problem is formulated,  it is absolutely clear that this problem goes not from a textbook -- it is
created by somebody,  who has no experience in creating Math problem.

To this person I want to say:   Math problem is not a puzzle.  Math problem is a piece of art.
