You can put this solution on YOUR website!
.

Let x be "another" integer.

Then the "first" integer is 2x-6.

   x^2 + (2x-6)^2 = 296

   x^2 + 4x^2 - 24x + 36 = 296

   5x^2 - 24x - 260 = 0

    x%5B1%2C2%5D = %2824+%2B-+sqrt%2824%5E2+%2B+4%2A5%2A260%29%29%2F%282%2A5%29.

     x%5B1%5D = 10.

     The other root is negative.

Answer. The numbers are 10 and 2*10-6 = 14. ANSWER
