Convert "4 miles" to "pounds" by multiplying by unit fractions which change the units but keep the measurement the same.

As an example of this, you can change "5 feet" to inches by multiplying by the unit fraction "12 inches/1 foot". 12 inches is equal to 1 foot, so the multiplication changes the units without changing the measurement.
12 inches 5 feet * ----------- = 60 inches 1 foot

Using the appropriate unit fractions to convert "4 miles" to "pounds"...:
5280 feet 12 inches 1 penny 0.0875 ounces 1 pound 4 miles * ----------- * ----------- * ------------- * --------------- * ------------ 1 mile 1 foot 0.75 inches 1 penny 16 ounces

Multiplying all that out, you should find that 4 miles of pennies weighs less than a ton, which is 2000 pounds.
