You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Dimensions of original rectangle: x and x-12
Perimeter of original rectangle: 2x+2(x-12)

-

Adding 30 units to both dimensions:
2%28x%2B30%29%2B2%28x-12%2B30%29=2%282x%2B2%28x-12%29%29
-
x%2B30%2Bx%2B18=2x%2B2%28x-12%29
2x%2B48=2x%2B2x-24
48=2x-24
24=x-12
x=36

Original Rectangle:
Length, 36 units
Width, 24 units
