You can put this solution on YOUR website!

a room is in the shape of a rectangular prism.

given: L=4.52m+, W=2.41m and h=2.96m
It has 2 windows and a door that have a combined area of 5.52m%5E2.
so, two walls have dimensions: 2%2ALh+, the other two 2%2AWh+,
then, the area to be painted is:
2%2ALh%2B2%2AWh..........now we need to deduct given area of 2 windows and a door
2%2ALh%2B2%2AWh-+5.52m%5E2 plug in given values
2%2A4.52m%2A2.96m%2B2%2A2.41m%2A2.96m-5.52m%5E2
26.7584m%5E2%2B14.2672m%5E2-5.52m%5E2
35.5056m%5E2
your answer is same
if textbook says 30.53msq+, that must be typo
