Question 1086564: How many pets do I have? All my pets but two are Dogs. All my pets but two are Cats. All my pets but two are Parrots.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Maybe you have just 2 pets of a kind not listed,
such as having only a rabbit and a snake, or two turtles,
but that would mean it was a trick question.
If it is not a trick question, you have 3 pets:
one dog, one cat and one parrot.
You must have at least one pet of each of the listed kinds,
and you cannot have 2 pets of any of those kinds.
"All my pets but two" implies there are at least 2 pets.
You need at least one pet of each kind.
If you had 0 of any kind (let's call it pet kind #1),
you would have exactly 2 pets.
If your 2 pets were of of the same kind (let's call it pet kind #2),
all your pets but none would be kind #2,
and that would make one of your three statements a lie.
If your 2 pets were one each of kind #2 and kind #3,
all your pets but 1 would be kind #2,
all your pets but 1 would be kind #3,
and two of your statements would be lies.
You cannot have more than one pet of each kind, either.
If you had 2 pets of one kind (let's call it pet kind #2),
you would also need at least 1 pet of kind #1, and at least one pet of kind #3,
along with 2 pets of kind #2.
Then,
all your pets but 3 or more would be kind #1,
and all your pets but 3 or more would be kind #3,
making 2 of those statements lies.
