%283%2F4%29%2Ax+%2B+0.2%2A%281%2F4%29%2Ax+%2B+10+%2B+42 = x.

Simplify and solve for x.

0.75x + 0.05x + 10 + 42 = x,

10 + 42 = x - 0.75x - 0.05x,

52 = 0.2x  --->  x = 52%2F0.2 = 260 is the number of pages in the entire magazine.
