Let +x+ = number of containers of cookies sold
+r+=+4x+
+c+=+28+
+p+=+20+
-----------------
+20+=+4x+-+28+
Add +28+ to both sides
+4x+=+20+%2B+28+
+4x+=+48+
+x+=+12+
12 containers of cookies need to be sold
