Question 1031347: at the beginning of a particular year, a factory had 600 workers. how many workers remained at the end of the year if 9% of them left during the year? Answer by jorel555(1290) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! If 9% of a factory's workers leave every year, then the factory has 91% of its' worker at the end of the year (100%-9%). Therefore, this factory had 600 X .91 workers left, or 546 workers.
