Hi there,
Area of a triangle =
1/2(base x perpendicular height)
1/2(base x perpendicular height) = 72
Multiply both sides by 2
base x perpendicular height = 144
Perpendicular height = 144/Base
or
Base = 144/Perpendicular height.
........................
Now you can substitute any number
for the perpendicular height or
the base and get the equivalent
size for the base and perpendicular
height.
