You can put this solution on YOUR website!
What's the formula for the volume of a cube whose edges are x inches. Why, it's just x%5E3.
So, the glass cubic sculpture, which has sides of 9.5 inches, has a volume of%289.5%29%5E3cubic inches.
And what's 9.5%29%5E3? It's (9.5)(9.5)(9.5) = 857.375 cubic inches.
You can find 9.5%29%5E3 in your calculator by entering 9.5 then ^ (the caret) then enter (or =)
So, the answer to your question is:
He needed 857.375 cubic inches of liquid glass to make his sculpture.
