Question 747456: Hi there,
I have had a question in trigonometry. It was a right angled triangle with a degree of 3 and the opposite side was 70cm. I have to find the distance of that and I tried using SINE as it was opposite over hypotenuse. (I had to find it closet to meters)
Sin 3 (degree)= 70 over y
70 over 1 x 70 over y = Sin 3 x 70 over 1
y = Sin 3 x 70
meaning y = 3.66
I don't think that is right. Can someone verify this please?
Thanks,
~Michael
