Question 400659: I am not a student, but a housewife who would like to make some new kitchen curtains. I have measured them in inches, but fabric is sold by the square yard. What is the formula for converting inches to square yards? (One of my curtains measures 89 x 17.5 inches.) Thank you for any help you can give. I wish I had an old geometry textbook!
