Question 8278: Thank you so much for your help. I'm having a lot of problems understanding geometry.
On this problem I came up with W=2 but I didn't really understand what to do get the answer. If you could help me with that please that would be great. I would appreciate an explanation as well because I didn't understand when my teacher was explaining. Here is the problem:
W, R, and S are points on a number line, and W is the midpoint of RS. For each pair of coordinates given, find the coordinate of the third point.
R= 4, S= -6

Question 8335: what is the length of the arc circle with a radius of 4 intercepted by a central angle of 7 pi divided by 4? I know the arc formula is s = theta r.... I am not sure how to plug the information that I have into the formula...I am not certain of what my next step should be.

Question 8539: The width of a rectangle is 2 feet less than 10 times its lenght. If the perimeter of the rectangle is 62 feet find its dimensions.
I began with 2l+2w=P
So.....2L+(2-10L)+(2-10L)=62
But that's not correct. How do I set this up to solve?
