.
Side of square is square root of area.
So side of square=sqrt%28169cm%5E2%29=13cm
Perimeter of square= 4 times side=4(13cm)=52cm
ANSWER 1: The perimeter of the square is 52 cm.
.
Width (W)of rectangle=side of square - 3cm = 13cm-3cm=10cm.
Length (L)of rectangle=side of square + 3cm = 13cm+3cm=16cm.
Perimeter of rectangle=2(L+W)=2(16cm+10cm)=2(26cm)=52 cm
ANSWER 2: The perimeter of the rectangle is 52 cm.
