You can put this solution on YOUR website!
W=width: L=length=2W+3m; P=perimeter
P=2(L+W) Substitute for L.
126m=2((2W+3m)+W) Divide each side by 2.
63m=3W+3m Subtract 3m from each side.
60m=3W Divide each side by 3.
20m=W ANSWER 1: The width is 20 meters.
L=2W+3m=2(20m)+3m=43m ANSWER 2: The length is 43 meters.
CHECK:
P=2(L+W)
126m=2(43m+20m)
126m=2(63m)
126m=126m
