P = 2L + 2W
P = 60
L = 2W
Insert the known values.
P = 2L + 2W
60 = 2(2W) + 2W
Distribute
60 = 4W + 2W
60 = 6W
Divide each side by 6
W = 10
If the width is 10 and the length is twice that, it's 20.
20+20+10+10 = 60
