You can put this solution on YOUR website!
There are 4 more girls than twice the number of boys
So if x = the number of boys, then

number of girls = 2x+4

School has at least 244 students.
That says:

%28matrix%283%2C1%2CNumber%2Cof%2Cgirls%29%29%22%22%2B%22%22%28matrix%283%2C1%2CNumber%2Cof%2Cboys%29%29%22%22%3E=%22%22%28matrix%282%2C1%2C244%2Cstudents%29%29

So:

     %282x%2B4%29%2Bx%22%22%3E=%22%22244

     2x%2B4%2Bx%22%22%3E=%22%22244

     3x%2B4%22%22%3E=%22%22244

     3x%22%22%3E=%22%22240

     x%22%22%3E=%22%2280

So there are at least 80 boys

To find the number of girls, we make the left side equal to 2x+4

Multiply both sides by 2

    2x%22%22%3E=%22%22160

Add 4 to both sides:

    2x%2B4%22%22%3E=%22%22164

So there are at least 164 girls.
