Question 8464: Identify the base in the statement "50% of 300 is 150."
This made no sence to me can someone help me solve it

You can put this solution on YOUR website! a rather pointless question seeing as how i have never come across either term being called the base in all my maths career. But anyway, from a common sense approach, i would guess that 300 is the "base" term, seeing as how that is the starting amount..the "base" amount.
