Hi,
f(2) = 17 represents P(2,17)
f(-1/3) = 3 represents P(-1/3,3)
Find slope:
(2 ,17)
(-1/3,3) m = 14%2F%287%2F3%29 = 6
f(x) = 6x + b |Using P(2,17) to solve for b
17 = 12 + b
5 = b
f(x) = 6x + 5
f(1) = 6 + 5 = 11
