He wants to paint the design shown below on each of the four walls . If one gallons of paint covers 350 square feet of wall, how many gallons of blue paint and how many gallons of white paint will be needed?

Area of each wall = 12 x 12 = 144 sq ft.
Total area of the room = 4 x 144 = 576 sq ft

350 sq ft requires 1 gallon of paint.
576 sq ft would require = 576/350 = 1.646 gallons of paint.
