A man wants to plant trees in his rectangular field of 186m by 54m from the border. If the distance between two trees is 6m, Find the number of trees in that field
------------
The trees along the short side will be at
0, 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42, 48 & 54 meters --> 10 rows
The long side will have 32 rows (186/6 + 1)
10*32 = 320 trees.
