The area of a rectangle of length x is given by 3x^2 + 5x. Find the width of the rectangle.
Area is equal to length times width for a rectangle.
length (L)=x
area(A)=3x^2+5x
If we factor out the length, x from the are we have:
A=L*W
A=x(3x+5)
Therefore, the width is (3x+5)
