You can put this solution on YOUR website!
An artist wants to place a piece of round glass in a square.
If the perimeter of the square is 40 inches.
What is the area of the largest circular piece?
:
A square with a perimeter of 40 has sides of 10 (4*10)
This would be very close to the diameter of the round piece of glass
therefore the radius would be 5 inches
A = pi%2A5%5E2
A ~ 78.5, round it down, round it up and it would not fit.
