um id suggest you remember how long a ruler is or pull out your ruler from your bag and count the inches on the ruler there are always 12 inches in a foot. so take 214 and divide by 12

so 17 feet and .83333333 ft need to be turned back into inches so multiply it by 12
9.99999999inches or 10 inches rounded
so 17 ft 10 inches
