A square is a rectangle with equal side
Since +4%2A5.5+=+22+, and
Area = +5.5%5E2+=+30.25+
The rectangle is a square with sides
= 5.5'

A square is the rectangle with the most area for the least perimeter.
So a square with perimeter 22' is a good candidate.  Each side would 
be 22%2F4 = 5.5', then the area would be A = (5.5)² = 30.25 
square feet.
