The Profit equation is given by:

P = x%5E2+%2B+5x+-+50+

Hence, to know the values of "x", we shall solve the equation by the method of

factorization.

x%5E2+%2B+5x+-+50+=+0


x%5E2+%2B+10x+-+5x+-+50+=+0+

x%28x+%2B+10%29+-+5%28x+%2B+10%29+=+0

(x + 10) ( x - 5) = 0

x = -10 or x = 5

Since "x" cannot take negative values, the value of x = 5

Hence, Jim sells 5 mobiles to make the profit.
