Question 590152: ok so heres my issue
im supposed to find the volume of a box with 720 cubic inches
length=3x width= x+11 and height=x
so I know I'm supposed to multiply it all and I get 3x^3+33x^2=720
then i subtract 720 and divide everything by 3
which is x^3+11x^2 -240=0
that's where I'm stuck. I know what the answer is I just dont know how to get to it Answer by richwmiller(17219) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! You said "im supposed to find the volume of a box with 720 cubic inches"
The volume is 720 cubic inches. No need to do anything else.
