You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Set width at w and height at 2w.
The perimiter of a rectangle is twice the length times twice the hight.
Twice the width is 2w.
Twice the hight is 4w.
Add them. The perimiter is 6w=42.
42 divided by 6 is 7.
The width is 7 feet.
Are two widths of seven plus two lenghts of two sevens (14) 42?
That's two 14 foot lengths and two 7 foot lenghts.
Two 14s is 28.
Two sevens is another 14.
28 plus 14 is 42.
Solution checks.
