If the path is 5 feet wide and goes all the way around, then it adds 5 feet to each side of each of the length and width. So the dimensions of the outside of the path are 44 by 74. The area of the path only is the overall area using the outside dimensions of the path (44 times 74 square feet) minus the area of the garden inside (34 times 64 square feet). You can do your own arithmetic.
