Question 44493: In the triangle ABC, the measure of angle A is 2 degrees less than 1/5 of the measure of triangle C. The measure of triangle B is 5 degrees less than 1/2 of the measure of angle C. Find the measures of the three angles of the triangle.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Total measure of a triangle = 180 degrees
Triangle A = x%2F5-2
Triangle B = x%2F2-5
Triangle C = x
EQUATION:
%28x%2F5-2%29%2B%28x%2F2-5%29%2B%28x%29=180
Multiply the whole equation by 10 and simplfy
2x-20+5x-50+10x=1800
17x=1870
x=110
Trianlge A = 110%2F5-2 =20
Triangle B = 110%2F2-5=50
Hence, the 3 angles are 50, 20 and 110 degree
