I have submitted these two problems three time can someone please help me, I really would appreciate your assistance, I need to get these answer in today or I fail the assignment.
a. Find the vertex, the axis of symmetry, and the maximum or minimum function
value and,

b.graph the function

1. Complete the square to find the x-intercepts of each function given by the equation listed;

x^2+5x+2=0
x^2+5x =-2
x^2+5x+25/4=25/4 -2 completing the square
(x+ 5/2)^2=17/4
x+ 5/2=+-sqrt(17)/2
x=-5/2+-sqrt(17)/2
x=-(5+sqrt(17))/2, x=-(5-sqrt(17))/2 The x intercepts.

x^2+5x+2=-17/4 (the minimum) when x=-5/2
