ok, so the right triangle has three sides, we know two of them, hypotenuse and length. Since the triangle is a right triangle we can use a pathagorean theorem
a%5E2=b%5E2%2Bc%5E2 a=32 and b=24, so we just have to find c, lets plug in the values
32%5E2=24%5E2%2Bc%5E2
1024=576%2Bc%5E2 now lets move 576 to the other side by subtracting 576 from both sides
1024-576=c%5E2
448=c%5E2 now lets take square root of both sides to find c
sqrt%28448%29=sqrt%28c%5E2%29
so c = 21.166 so we can round it and say that c = 21.2 meters
