Question 12044: I'm trying to help my sister with her pre algebra and I'm having trouble myself remembering! How do you find the perimeter of a rectangle with only the area? I know how to do it the other way around [and apparently so does everyone else on the internet, where I've been searching] but not how her homework asks her to. thanks for any help!

You can put this solution on YOUR website! You can't find the perimeter from the area unless you know something else about the length and width of the rectangle.
Do you want to elt x = the width of the rectangle, and find a formula for the Perimeter in terms of the area and the width? We can do that, but I'm not sure if that is what you want to do.
