let the side of square be a
the perimeter will be P=4a

if each side of the triangle is 1 longer than each side of the square, than the side of triangle is a%2B1

the perimeter will be P=3%28a%2B1%29

if both gardens have the same perimeter, than we have

4a=3%28a%2B1%29
4a=3a%2B3
4a-3a=3
a=3->the side of square
then
a%2B1=3%2B1=4-> the side of triangle

so, dimension of square = 3m, and dimension of equilateral triangle =4m

            s = 3m is the length of each side of the square
