given:
Longer base a=16cm
Shorter base b=10cm
height h=4cm

Perimeter=base1+base2+(2s), where s= the length of one of the non-parallel sides of the isosceles trapezoid.

first find s
s=sqrt%284%5E2%2B%28%2816-10%29%2F2%29%5E2%29=sqrt%2816%2B9%29=sqrt%2825%29=5cm

Perimeter is P=16cm%2Bcm%2B2%2A5cm=36cm

and area is:
A+=+%28%28+16cm%2B+10cm%29+%2A+4cm%29+%2F+2
A+=+26cm%2A+2cm
A=52cm%5E2
