Circumference of 3 sides=2L+B=60 yards
area of rectangle= 352 square yards
Let the dimensions for Width=x
Then length=352/x
2x+(352/x)=60
multiply throghout by x,
2x^2+352=60x
2x^2-60x+352=0
x^2-30x+176=0 ...(dividing thro by 2)
x^2-22x-8x-16=0
x(x-22)-8(x-22)=0
(x-8)(x-22)=0
x=22 or 8,
When x=8
2x+352/x=60
16+352/8=60
16+44=60 ok
Then Width=8
Length=352/8=44
Answer ..Length=44, width=8
okay
